TYRESE SET TO RELEASE ALTER EGO

Tyrese has been spending the past couple of months focusing on his acting career including a lead role in Annapolis and a special guest spot in R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s latest video, “love.” But Tyrese is ready to get back to his musical roots and he’s planning on releasing a double album. Half of the new album will feature the crooner rapping under his Black Ty alias, the othe rhalf will feature him singing.

Tyrese shared who some of the guests on the new album were. He said,

“It’s a double album called Alter Ego. One whole side is R&B, the other side is me rhyming. Got Snoop, Game, Paul Wall, Chingy, Mannie Fresh, Ice Cube, Lady of Rage, Yo-Yo, Kurupt. I love both. You know albums are like kids to me. You can’t say, ‘I love my son the most, you know.’ Create them, you know, you got to create them and let the world enjoy them, you know.”

The singer’s last release was 2002’s gold-certified, I Wanna Go There.
