It’s only been five weeks since Jaheim’s third album, Ghetto Classics, entered the Billboard 200 albums chart at Number One but this week the album was certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies.The latest single from the album is “The Chosen One.”

Jaheim recently shared that he hopes to record a gospel album one day. He said,

“But a I’ve been thinking about doing a gospel album. I want to do a gospel album. Everybody wants to do a gospel album right? So I’m going to wait until I can fulfill that and possibly do maybe a couple of them.”

Jaheim is currently finalizing tour plans and he’s been fortunate enough to hook up with the late Luther Vandross’ band which will now serve as Jaheim’s permanent band.
