LUKE BACKTRACKS ON RETIREMENT STATEMENT
Southern rap pioneer Luke will release his new album, My Life & Freaky Times, on May 2nd. The new album will be packaged with a two CD audio book preview of Luke’s forthcoming tell-all book also titled, My Life & Freaky Times. Luke was initially slated to release the album last year before retiring to enter the adult entertainment industry but he’s since had a change of plans. |
Luke explained that he isn’t exactly retiring anymore. He said, |
“Bruce Springsteen, I was looking at that today on TV and he was doing another album. It was liwk Bruce Springsteen can’t retire. You know I was thinking to myself, ‘Is this a retirement for me?’ You know one day I’m like on some I’m retiring. The next day I’m on some other stuff. I think it will probably be a situation where I won’t do no records too soon. You know I don’t think I can ever retire.” |
My Life & Freaky Times features guest appearances by Trick Daddy, Jacki-O, Petey Pablo, Pitbull, Dirtbag, Rick Ross, Big Tigger, Dexter Angry, and Honorebel. |
The latest single from the project is “Holla At Cha Homeboy” featuring Pitbull and Petey Pablo. |
