THA DOGG POUND RETURNS

After a ten year hiatus, Tha Dogg Pound is ready to return

It took ten years, but the Dogg Pound is ready to put out a new album and put California hip-hop back on the map. Leading the Pound is none other than Snoop Dogg.

“I’m like the quarterback,” said Snoop Dogg via a press release. “Putting the team together, gluing it together. I’m the one that puts everything in the proper perspective.”

That team includes members Daz Dillinger and Kurpt, aka Young Gotti. “We just came back together and made a classic Dogg Pound gangsta album,” says Dillinger.

The album, “Cali Iz Active” features appearances by Busta Rhymes, David Banner, Paul Wall, Tha Dogg Pound Family, and production by Battlecat, Fredwreck, The Alchemist, Jazzy Pha, and P.Diddy. Kurupt describes the album as “Some of the original G sounds with a new twist, new millennium G sh*t!”

“Cali Iz Active” will hit stores June 27.
