YUNG JOC IS THE LATEST BAD BOY, GETS BOOST FROM P DIDDY

Atlanta-based rapper Yung Joc will release his debut album, New Joc City, on June 6th. The set will feature guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Dro, Cheri Dennis, Jody Breeze, Duke, Big Gee, and Marques Houston. The latest single from the album is “Goin Down.”

Yung Joc, who is currently on tour with T.I., explained how he got his name. The rapper said,

“My mama used to watch the show Dallas, man, and a it’s crazy, ’cause J.R. Ewing was this very successful, prominent figure, you know what I’m sayin’? She said that I would be that. I would follow in those types, kind of footsteps. So there you have it, my mama named me, Joc, after J.R. Ewing on Dallas, man. Yung ’cause, man, look man, I ain’t got no facial hair, man. Come on man, it speaks for itself.”

The rapper landed a deal with Atlanta-based production company, Block Entertainment, last year. The company has a partnership with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy label.
