JAY Z PAL ADMITS TO PEPPER SPRAY INCIDENT

Tryan “Ty-Ty” Smith, longtime friend to Jay-Z, confessed to pepper-spraying four of R.Kelly’s bodyguards during the New York stop of their “Best of Both Worlds’ Tour” in Oct. 2004.

Ty-Ty confessed to the incident April 24 and has been charged with assault. He will be allowed to plead guilty to disorderly conduct and serve a maximum four days of community service.

During the concert, Kelly told the audience that there were men with guns flashing and proceeded to leave the stage were his bodyguards were pepper-sprayed. Kelly’s $16 million breach of contract against Jay-Z for continuing the tour without the singer is close to being settled.
