SARA STOKES INKS DEAL WITH DON P OF TRILLVILLE
R&B singer Sara Stokes, formerly of Bad Boy’s Da Band, has resurfaced after being out of the limelight for over two years. The singer has entered into a production agreement with Trillville’s Don P and will be releasing new music in the coming months. Don P has already mapped out his plan for Stokes. He said, “Yeah, we got a couple of labels already lined up. What we’re gonna do is get her on the hook on a couple of singles for a couple of artists coming out. Get her back on the scene as soon as possible, back singing as soon as possible, and it’s just gonna be crazy. It’s just gonna happen. It’s almost gonna be like she never left, you know what I mean?” |
Stokes explained the importance of staying on top of her business. She said, |
“I mean I was doing my own little solo album and it wasn’t even as hard as like going through all this stuff. I was like man, the business part. It’s ninety percent business, ten percent singing. So if you don’t have your business togther I’ve found that you’re messed up. You’ll be bankrupt before you know it.” |
Stokes was featured on Da Band’s 2003 debut album, Too Hot For T.V. |
