RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS RELEASE STADIUM ARCADIUM

(VIDEO) In most of the world you may now purchase the Red Hot Chili Peppers new double CD, Stadium Arcadium. Guitarist Frusciante told us it’s the best the band’s ever done.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have released their new double CD, Stadium Arcadium, and it is packed with 28 songs including the hit single, “Dani California.” The band is set to kick off the first of three legs of U.S. tour dates August 11 in Portland, Oregon. Other legs start on September 14 and October 17, respectively.

We caught up with guitarist John Frusciante, who told us that the album is different and that musically, Red Hot Chili Peppers are on their game.

“Yeah it is real different. I’m sorry. So, I don’t know how to put it right now real simply. I know that everybody else in the band blew me by how much better they are than they’ve ever been, and I think I stepped up too.”

The Chili Peppers will tab The Mars Volta to open all dates of the U.S. tour. As for Stadium Arcadium, the band recorded it in the same house where they did their breakthrough BloodSugarSexMagik album. The album was produced by Rick Rubin.
