CHAMILLIONAIRE EXCEEDS THE BUZZ

(VIDEO) Chamillionaire matches his buzz and then some……

Chamillionaire has carved out his own niche be earning his first Number One record which is something that fellow Houston rappers Mike Jones, Paul Wall, and Slim Thug, are still trying hoping to accomplish. Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’ Dirty” featuring Krayzie Bone went to Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week. The song was aided by several regfional remixes which included guest vocals form UGK, E-40, Papoose, and Jae Millz.

Chamillionaire’s debut, Sound Of Revenge, continues to move 35,000 copies a week and is poised to hit platinum before the end of next month. Earlier this year, Chamillionaire explained that he was just out to match the buzz that preceeded the release of the project. The rapper said,

“So you know I feel like my whole way people have been telling me, ‘It’s not gonna work. It’s not gonna work.’ So this is like revenge to everybody that doubted me and thought that everything I was doing wasn’t gonna work, you know what I’m sayin’? I’mma be successful regardless. I’m not necessarily just saying sales wise. It just like it might come to I got this buzz about myself and it’s like just matching up to the buzz. A lot of artists come out with music and it don’t match up to the buzz. So I just want to come as close as possible to being successful when it comes to matching up to the, you know, hype of the music. The hype of the buzz.”
