JENNIFER ANISTON SAYS THE BREAK-UP IS NO CHICK FLICK

(VIDEO) The Break-Up star Jennifer Aniston says it’s not a chick flick, and men love it.

The Break-Up may not sound like your typical date movie but according to Jennifer Aniston it’s something to share with your significant other. Jennifer says it’s definitely not a chick flick.

At first glance Jennifer wasn’t sold on the script because the title kind of put her off just a tad. But after reading the clever dialogue by Vince Vaughn and getting the opportunity to work with him, her mind was immediately changed.

“They love it! Guys have loved this. This is what amazes me. They say, ‘this is not a chick flick.’ This is definitely men and women. There’s no way it’s just a chick flick which we felt from the beginning. Come on, you’ve got Vince Vaughn and he’s hardly just chick flick material.”

While in Chicago Vince and Jen took in the sights including The White Sox game at Wrigley Field which was used in the opening sequence of the film with the real fans cheering their favorite team. The Break-Up opens today in theaters nationwide.rn

“Vince was a big part of it and when it came to me at the time that it came to me I thought they were kidding just because of the title of a movie called The Break-Up. And then I read it and it was fantastically written. It was smart, it was funny and it was real and Chicago for two months. It was just like a great package.”
