NICK AND AARON CARTER GET REAL AT MOVIE AWARDS

Aaron and brother Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys were both in attendance at the MTV Movie Awards on June 3. The duo are promoting their new reality show based on their family.

Nic and Aaron talked about the genesis of their reality show.

[Nick] “Right now, me and Aaron have developed a reality TV show that E! has picked up. It’s based on the family, the Carter family.” [Aaron] “It’s basically about us reconstructing our family. Because it’s another way of saying family can still be family no matter what happens. We’ve been through a lot of stuff, so…”

So does this signal the end of the Backstreet Boys? Nick didn’t think so, and he said that fans should be on the look-out for a big announcement from the band in the next few months.

“Everybody’s great, everybody’s great. There is going to be some big news in the world of the Backstreet Boys that I can’t really talk about right now.”

Backstreet Boys last released an album, Never Gone, in June of last year. The Carters, an eight episode, half-hour series, is set to debut this fall on the E! entertainment channel. It will include Aaron and Nick, plus their siblings BJ, Leslie and Angel.
