(VIDEO) Newcomer Nathalie Kelly holds her own amongst the men in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Nathalie Kelly stars in The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift in her debut role playing Neela, who is caught in a love triangle with racer Lucas Black and a member of a Japanese gang who challenges Black to a high speed drift race. Being the only woman in an all male cast wasn’t hard for Nathalie although she would often be the one to break up the fooling around between Bow Wow and Lucas Black.

Nathalie learned a little bit on the set about the specialized form of drift racing.

“Working with him and Bow was fun but impossible at the same time because they both feed off each other’s goofiness. Sometimes I’m trying to keep the peace and keep everything in balance because those two were going off but it was such a pleasure working with Lucas. It was really a lot of fun.”rn

“I think I really paid attention to the instructions because I knew that I knew nothing about it. Whereas I think some of the boys got a bit cocky and decided to take things into their own hands. Maybe I learned better than them but Lucas was definitely like the one who was the most into it. Even between takes sometimes he’d be taking the car out for a spin worrying a few people.”
