KATE BOSWORTH ADMIRES LOIS LANE IN SUPERMAN RETURNS

(VIDEO) Kate Bosworth takes on Lois Lane in Superman Returns and admires the reporter’s independent qualities.

In Superman Returns Kate Bosworth takes on the role of The Daily Planet ace reporter Lois Lane. No longer waiting around for Superman to commit she’s become engaged to her boss’ son played by James Marsden. Now with Superman returning she has to face the tough decision to go with the flying super hero or the regular down to earth guy. Kate says she liked Lois Lane’s feistiness.

It was also a pleasure for Kate to see Brandon Routh change from the sweet and innocent Clark Kent into the sexy Superman, not to mention the suit.

“She’s definitely the type of woman who thinks she doesn’t need to be saved, ever. She’ll just care of things on her own. She’s very independent. She’s very driven, very strong willed which can be slightly frustrating to the men in her life. It was a very fun character to play and as a woman to play somebody that is so independent and strong was a real pleasure.”

Kate does all her own flying stunts with Brandon strapped into a very uncomfortable harness but at the end of the day she can say she got to fly with Superman.rn

“It was amazing to see him in the suit because Brandon assumes such a different personality and such a different posture as Superman which is really cool to see as well. To see how he plays Clark Kent to Superman is such a subtle change but it’s a really incredible one as well.”
