Pedal Steel virtuoso Robert Randolph is set to release his new album titled ‘Colorblind.’ The new album which will hit the streets in September features a star studded list of guest joining Robert Robert and the Family Band. With Eric Clapton, Leela James, Dave Matthews, Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas all lending their talents, it’s no wonder Randolph had a lot of fun recording the record and he describes the upcoming release as a new life.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band are currently on tour with The Black Crowes until August 12th in Red Rocks Amphitheater. Robert Randolph will next hit the road with The Dave Matthews Band begining August 25th in Irvine, California and you can bet Robert and Dave will showcase some new material they have written together for the new album ‘Colorblind.’
