Houston-based rapper Chamillionaire has become a national star since his hit record, “Ridin’ Dirty” featuring Krayzie Bone, hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. With the pop success, Chamillionaire found himself on a whole new circuit and having to deal with a lot of new people. The rapper shared what’s been the hardest part of the process. He said,

Chamillionaire will be shooting a video for his new single, “Grown & Sexy,” in Los Angeles. The rapper explained that the new single is definitely for the ladies. He said,

“I think it’s just getting used to being a star itself you know what I mean? A lot of this stuff is new to me man. I still try to stay grounded but it’s crazy when everybody’s telling you, ‘You the greatest,’ you know what I’m sayin’?”

Chamillionaire’s Sound of Revenge was recently certified platinum for sales of one million copies.

“The new single is ‘Grown & Sexy.’ I just had to do something for another audience which is the female because you know I did something for the club, ‘Turn It Up.’ I did something for the street with ‘Ridin’, now. I’m fitting to capture the female audience with ‘Grown & Sexy.’ I’m a shot a video out here in LA. I’m about to do it big again for the third time.”
