Cherish was discovered by producer Jazze Pha, the man behind Ciara’s success, and signed to the producer’s Sho’Nuff Records. Pha explained what fans can expect from the group’s debut. He said, |
“Ladies and gentlemen you are now tuned into the best man. The Cherish album is crazy, you know what I’m sayin’? The ‘Do It To It,’ top of the charts right now, crazy remix we got on that. These are four young ladies that can really sing, you know what I’m sayin’? This ain’t just a snap group or nothing like that. It’s definitely not that. It’s just a snap song we did. We captured the moment, what was going on at the time. And then we gonna go into this album man. The album’s crazy. The girls can really sing, writing hit records, and the fact that they do that make them exceptional talent.” |
