“I like the shows where people call in. I forgot the name of this guy in L.A. who calls in. He is the host but he also calls in as other characters and then he has real people call in. Then his characters mess with the real people. Radio engages you in a different way especially the one where there’s people talking. What they didn’t call it were just guys saying, ‘OK we’re back again.’ Reverend Gene Scott was not on radio, he was on TV but he would just talk for three hours. It was just mesmerizing. Talk radio hits you differently because I think it gets a lot more people even in television. Now with XM and without the commercials people are engaging in a whole other way.” |
