KID N PLAY READY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN

Christopher “Kid” Reid of Kid N Play has been very busy since his group disbanded. He hosted two television show’s Your Big Break and Showtime At The Apollo, now he’s working on a new solo album before heading back into the studio with Christopher “Play” Martin to record a new Kid N Play album.

Kid N Play starred in three House Party movies, a Saturday morning cartoon series, and released four albums including two gold sets: 1988’s 2 Hype and 1990’s Kid ‘N Play’s Funhouse. The group initially disbanded in 1993.

“You know what it’s funny. I mean it kinda takes me back to what is was like when we were making it. The amount of fun that we had. And you know that’s a good thing, you know what I mean? Seeing all the stars that came up out of that who are still our friends to this day. So that’s all love man.”
