TIM ALLEN’S SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE TRIPLE

Tim Allen stars as a maturing superhero in Zoom brought out of retirement to train an unlikely group of young recruits to become future superheroes. Tim who has worked with Saturday Night Live alumni Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin in Christmas With The Kranks and The Shaggy Dog talks about another SNL comedian starring in Zoom who in a sense is coming out of retirement as well playing the Scientist.

Chevy Chase a founding member of the Not Ready For Primetime Players on Saturday Night Live performed classic segments with co-anchor Jane Curtin on the show’s Weekend Update coining the famous phrase, Jane, you ignorant slut. Zoom opens August 11th.

“Chevy Chase he calls himself an icon, what is it? An icon and a moron, no I called him a moron, he called him an icon. I have been so fortunate in the last three movies to work with Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin and now Chevy Chase. And these are comedy icons to me. I’m not that much younger than all of them. I am younger than they are but it’s like working with comedy. When things changed for me on television it changed because of SNL (Saturday Night Live). And now I’ve worked with the guys that started it so it’s very difficult to not be intimidated but on the other hand this is about being equals on the set but you know it’s Chevy Chase.”
