FACTOTUM’S FAKE BOOZE X

Lily Taylor is no stranger to independent films but her Factotum co-star Matt Dillon is used to working with a slightly bigger budget. Playing the drunken girlfriend to Matt;s alcoholic aspiring writer, the two actors boozed it up quite a bit in the film but they were a bit concerned about how realistic the liquor looked that they were drinking for the sake of saving a few bucks.

Lily seemed to be up for anything including wrapping Matt’s supposed naked bottom in gauze.

“It was an independent so we probably didn’t have nice fancy juice. I remember the concoction we had to come up with was you do when you don’t have a budget, like that’s the best we can come up with for the booze? Jesus, I can’t remember what we came up with. Yeah but there were times when Matt and I said, ‘this looks like crap, you got to work on this. We got to add something in to make it look like not Jungle Bird, but Night Train, whatever the hell they were drinking at one point.”

Lily recently wrapped Quebec co-starring John C. Reilly and is set to shoot Starting Out In The Evening with Frank Langella playing her dad.

“The thing was that Matt wasn’t really naked in that so if you notice the way it was shot we never quite see. So he felt really comfortable because he didn’t have to be all exposed and everything.”
