MARK WAHLBERG WON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER

(VIDEO) Invincible star Mark Wahlberg related to the real Vince Papale as he achieved success against all odds as well.

Movie star Mark Wahlberg didn’t have a privileged upbringing on the hard streets of Dorchester Massachusetts, but what he did have was an iron cast determination to succeed even if the odds seemed against him. Mark related to the blue collar bartender Vince Papale he plays in Invincible who achieved his dreams of playing pro football despite his lack of training because like Vince Mark would never take ‘no’ for an answer.

Next Mark is making it happen with an HBO show in development called Treatment which is currently in the casting phase about a therapist who is in dire need of counseling himself. Invincible opens tomorrow.

“I’ve said a million times I could never compare what I did to what Vince did. I just can’t imagine doing what he did. But I was told ‘no’ and I know a lot of people who’ve been told ‘no.’ It’s about going out there and working your hardest to achieve your goals and not taking ‘no,’ and not taking anything but ‘yes’ for an answer and making it happen. If not if I didn’t succeed in the way I had I would still be OK because I know I gave it my all. And that’s what it’s all about.”
