JASON STATHAM WANTS TO FREEFALL FROM PLANE

Crank star Jason Statham is getting bored with typical bungee jumping and wants to tackle next freefalling stunt.

Crank star Jason Statham is an adrenaline junkie off screen as well as on. Tired of the same old feeling of hanging from a bungee cord, Jason says he is now ready to attempt his next freefalling feat.

Having worked with the best stuntmen in the business, Jason already has his instructor in place to guide him through his first freefall from a plane.

“I suppose the closest thing I did was in 1990. I did a bungee jump. I was at the Commonwealth games out in Aukland, New Zealand. We did a bungee jump, a ton of the swimmers all my friends and the other divers because I was competing as a diver for Great Britain at the time. We got ourselves on this big crane over the harbor and we did this bungee jump so that’s the sensation of free falling. But they get a bit boring after awhile. I’m looking to something out of an airplane, a proper freefall.”

“You can do a course, an accelerated freefall course. A lot of the stuntmen that I know are willing to take me, a couple of friends that actually do B.A.S.E. jump which is like the maddest of the mad. B.A.S.E. is bridges, antennas, spans and earth; that’s what it stands for. That’s what they jump from like you see people parachute from a very tall building to the streets below. And they’ve got a parachute, a deploy chute in their hand and as they jump let go of it. Its radical stuff, it’s mad.”rnrn
