The film Hollywoodland is re-examining the unsolved case with Adrien Brody as private detective Louis Simo haunted by the man of steel’s mysterious death.

“We know that there is a lot of speculation that there is foul play and there is a lot of reason for that to be reality and there is also where he was in his life that might’ve led to a suicide but I kind of have kept it pretty vague for myself intentionally and Allen Coulter and I have done this because my character wouldn’t know. It can go both ways. It’s hard to tell what ultimately happened to him.”
