CRANK CLOSE SECOND TO FAMILY FRIENDLY INVINCIBLE

Crank brought the summer to a close coming in second at the box office with 13 million dollars over the Labor Day weekend. The adrenaline filled thriller was close but just couldn’t pass Invincible which took the number one spot at 15.2 million. One thing Crank has that the family friendly Invincible doesn’t is an outdoor sex scene between star Jason Statham and Amy Smart.

“Drop your pants and away you go! I mean I don’t know, it’s a toughie. We’re struggling in front of 250 extras. Believe me that’s not where the struggle is. It’s a difficult thing to try and act in front of all those people because usually a sex scene is in front of a splintered crew. It’s behind curtains and it’s blocked off.
