Fresh from the premiere in New Orleans at Tulane University this weekend to honor the city which hosted the filming of All The Kings Men which wrapped right before Hurricane Katrina hit, star Jude Law talks about his character. Jude plays Jack Burden, a former journalist who becomes Willie Stark’s aid and unknowingly backs up his corrupt politics. |
Like the rest of Sean Penn’s co-stars Jude Law joins them in reveling in Sean’s masterful acting prowess. |
“He really revels in the fact that he isn’t in politics. He’s just got a job there, that he isn’t ever emotionally involved. He thinks as long as he doesn’t really know the people that are involved he has no commitment to anyone, anything, anywhere.”rn |
Law is keeping it all in the Penn family starring opposite Sean’s wife Robin Wright in Breaking and Entering. Law got his wish to be a Romeo once again on screen as his character has a tumultuous affair with the mother of the intruder who has broken into his and Wright’s home. All The Kings Men opens Friday in theaters nationwide.rn |
“The majority of stuff I did with Sean playing Willie was as his aid and therefore I was able very often to sit back and just watch him work. I don’t think I’ve ever worked with anyone as inventive or as driven to find and refresh something that you feel you’ve got but could get better. It was a real treat.” |
