SENSES FAIL ANNOUNCE POST-ALBUM RELEASE TOUR DATES
(VIDEO) Senses Fail have announced a post-album release tour |
Senses Fail is currently playing a string of sold-out club shows in advance of their new album Still Searching. The album is slated to hit stores on October 10, but the band will be away playing shows on the International/overseas trek of Taste Of Chaos. |
The band has set a headlining tour starting November 24 at Boston’s Avalon, and vocalist James “Buddy” Nielsen recently said that they’re not into the trappings of new poseur rock and fake celebrity. |
“I’m not a big fan of MTV. I’m not into corporate rock. I find it disgusting a lot of the bands that end up on that station that don’t have integrity, but who really gives a sh-t. It’s America. There’s no such thing as integrity any more. I grew up in Jersey so there’s a really good underground scene in New Jersey, a good hardcore scene, a good punk rock scene, and a lot of it is getting really popular now. A lot of the bands that are on MTV now came from these underground scenes that popped up all over America, and it’s great to see these bands on there. It’s amazing that bands can come from nothing and push all the way to the mainstream. It’s really cool. MTV has changed it’s more of TV station than a music station.” |
Senses Fail’s last album, Let It Enfold You, has sold a respectable 300,000 copies, not bad for an indie band, and the new album, Still Searching, was produced by Brian McTernan and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge. |
