Rapper, actor and Pimp My Ride host Xzibit has his first Number One movie under his belt. The rapper;s latest project, Gridiron Gang, topped the movie box offices last month. Xzibit shared how he felt about hitting Number One,

Xzibit has also starred in Derailed, The Wash, Full Clip, and XXX: State Of the Union.

“More importantly than it being Number One, I was happy that such a positive message got out there. You know it’s rare in a film career so early on that you get a film of that magnitude and that much backbone. So you know I was proud to be part of it. Thw Rock was great. The story was great. You know it was an honor to play those guys cause they real heroes.”

In related news, Xzibit will release his new album, Full Circle, next Tuesday, October 17th. The set will be released through Koch Records. The album will feature guest appearances by The Game, DJ Quik, T-Pain, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, King Tee, and Donell Rawlings with production by Keith Shocklee, Rick Rock, and Jellyroll.
