RON ARTEST SAYS HE GETS LOVE IN DETROIT
The NBA season began on Tuesday, October 31st, which was also the day the Sacremento Kings forward Ron Artest released his debut rap album, My World. The album features guest appearances by Diddy, Mike Jones, Juvenile, Allure, Capone, and others, and it was released independently on Artest’s Tru Warrier label which is distributed by Lightyear. |
Artest was involved in a highly publicized brawl in Detroit two years ago which resulted in a year long suspension for the star. But he shared that when he hit Detroit on tour, it was nothing but love from the fans. Artest said, |
“I went from playing ball against the league, now I got a chance to open up for Jeezy. And then Detroit, I performed in Detroit where I had all that drama. The fans reacted crazy. They was feleling it. They was feeling it.” |
