THE RAPTURE RECALL FAVORITE THANKSGIVING MEMORIES
(VIDEO) San Diego’s favorite disco punks, The Rapture recall their favorite Thanksgiving memories, right here. |
San Diego’s own disco punks, The Rapture, currently touring in support of their 2006 major label debut, ‘Pieces of the People We Love’ have come a long way in the eight years of playing together. A band staying together for that long is certainly cause to be thankful. |
We caught up with Mattie and Gabe of The Rapture during this holiday season to find out what are some of their favorite Thanksgiving memories growing up. |
“My favorite memory from Thanksgiving holidays is — it’s kind of a long tradition in my family starting with my aunts and uncles — that would be going down to the corner to get stoned with my cousin and my sister and then coming back and playing Trivial Pursuit really stoned. There was always somebody stoned at a family gathering in my family. It’s just good times.” |
The Rapture have three more shows at The Brighton Academy in the UK for November. Look for the band to head back to America for the holidays and announce a new run of headlining tour dates in support of ‘Pieces of the People We Love’ for 2007. |
