Drake Bell, star of the Drake and Josh show is set to release his new effort It’s Only Time December 5, and he was recently in New York City to promote the album.

Bell will be hosting Nickelodeon’s Thanksgiving Day programming taking over this Sunday, but we talked to the star about what his actual Thanksgiving Day plans were.

“Thanksgiving is usually at my mom’s, and you know it’s just my brothers and my family and stuff, but this year my brother Travis he’s in the air force. He’s going to be n Florida. My brother Robert, he’s going to be in Hawaii. There’s not going to be anybody around so my mom called up and said, ‘Just do whatever you want for Thanksgiving. Have fun.’ I was like, ‘Awesome!’ I was never really… ‘Thanksgiving?! OK, now I have to drive all the way to Orange County to eat some turkey, like, with my brothers and to see my mom’s friends. So, it’s cool. I’m going to hang out with a bunch of my friends who can’t get back to where they live in LA, so we’re just going to have a big-old friends get-together and attempt to do fried turkey and all.”

Bell’s first single from It’s Only Time is “I Know.” Bell hopes to be out on the road next year in support of the album. The Drake and Josh Show recently wrapped up filming as the show was cancelled by Nickelodeon after a four year stint.
