The singer recently discussed how he used talk of the sophomore jinx as motivation. He said, |
“This album, first of all I had to do it in a lot shorter time period. So I did this in about four months, five months, and you know everybody was talking about the sophomore jinx, I think I addressed it standing on this stage last year. But I wasn’t worried about it you know. I was more excited because I had just come off the Grammys. I went back to the studio and I was excited. I felt like I had an opportunity to get my music exposed to more people because of the success that we had.” |
Next month Legend will be heading out on the road with Corinne Rae Bailey for a North American tour. |
