Jennifer Hudson has definitely arrived. The Anerican Idol finalist swept the Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globes, and Oscars in the best supporting role category for her work on the film Dreamgirls. The talented actress now must prove herself again as she begins work on her debut album with Clive Davis. The album is slated to hit stores later this year.

For Hudson, the success has been like a dream come true. She shared how in essence that’s what the movie, Dreamgirls, was about. The singer said,

“If you have a dream, you can achieve that dream. You can achieve that goal. It also let’s you know there is a price to pay.”

The 6 octave singer will be making several television appearances in the coming weeks.
