UGK hooks up with Outkast for “International Player’s Anthem”…. |
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is gearing up for the release of their new album, Strength & Loyalty, on April 17th on Interscope Records. The set will be the group’s first since signing with Swizz Beatz’ Interscope-distributed label. The album wll also be the group’s first major label release since Bizzy Bone was ousted form the group a couple of years ago. |
Group member Krayzie Bone, who won a Grammy Award earlier this month in the best rap performance by duo or group for “Ridin'” with Chamillionaire, shared what fans can expect from the project. He said, |
“The first single we have is with Akon, it’s called ‘I Tried.’ We got Chamillionaire on the album. We got Mariah Carey on the album. We got, we got,…Who else we got on the album? Yolanda Adams on the album, you know what I’m sayin’? There’s a lot of people on the album. This is really our first time ever doing collaboration. Usually our albums is just Bone Thugs N Harmony but it’s something different you know what I’m sayin’? We feel like we had to come real different and like really reach out to other people.” |
The group has released several indie projects such as last year’s Thug Stories but the group’s last official major label release was 2002’s Thug World Order. |
