Atlanta-based rapper T.I. is currently working on his new album, T.I. v T.I.P., which he plans to release in July. So far the rapper has recorded with Timbaland, Danja (Timbaland’s protege), Scott Storch, Mannie Fresh, Wyclef, Nelly, Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, Akon, Khao, Black Mob, and Just Blaze. |
T.I. also plans to record with Ciara and Eminem. He said, “I’m anticipating going in with Eminem. Eminem, we got a real hot concept that we spoke about over the phone. It’s gonna be on some real creative s**t. JT, Justin Timberlake, we’re just waiting on the proper song to get him on my album as well.” |
“My second album, Trap Muzik, it had a song on there entitled, T.I. v T.I.P., where I was basically challenging myself you know from positive to negative and from negative to positive. And this album, I feel like is a total transitional period for me and like right now I’m challenging myself you know. A lot of people feel like King was my best album. It was definitely my most successful album so now I must challenge myself to reach a new plateau.” |

In related news, T.I. and his longtime girlfriend, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, have broken up although the two are expecting a daughter in July. The daughter will be the couple’s second child together and sixth between them. Cottle is a former member of R&B group Xscape. |
