JOE ISSUES A WARNING TO OTHER MALE SINGERS

R&B singer Joe will release his new album, Ain’t Nothing Like Me, on Tuesday, April 24th. The album is the singer’s first in four years and features the production of Jermaine Dupri, Dre & Vidal, Tim & Bob, Brian Michael Cox, Stargate and Sean Garrett. The first single from the set is “If I Was Your Man.” |
Joe explained that the album’s title is really statement that he’s making to the new school of R&B singers that have emerged in his absence. He explained, |
“It’s called ‘Ain’t Nothing Like Me.’ The title is kind of like catered towards all the different artists out here in the industry. You know ya’ll had your journey. They had their own journey into this industry game. I’ve had mine. I’m very happy with where I am, you know what I’m sayin’? You know it’s a challenge. I mean the challenge is on. You got the new kids that’s out. Like I said before ya’ll do the dance thing. Ya’ll can have that dancing all day. I’mma stick with what I do. I’m a musician so ya’ll come see me on that side over there first.” |
