Rihanna has two versions of latest single making the rounds….. |
R&B and pop singer Rihanna is back with her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, which she will release on June 5th. The album features a song written by Justin Timberlake and a guest appearance by Ne-Yo. The first single from the project is “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z. |
Another version of the lead single featuring rapper Lil Mama is also in circulation. Lil Mama recently shared that she prides herself on her lyrics because they allow people to relate to her. The rapper said, |
“And being that I can express that I can give a woman the chance to sit back and say, ‘Oh like I can really relate to that.’ Or dude could be like, ‘Yo I like her. I feel her, like shorty’s real.’ And it’s gonna make me go far because it’s me. I’m not dependent on someone else to give me that mouth.” |
In related news, Rihanna, who recently inked a deal with Covergirl, has been romantically linked to R&B singer Omarion. The two were recently spotted having dinner in Los Angeles. |
Rihanna is on pace to release three albums in two years. Her previous releases includes 2005’s gold-certified Music of the Sun, and 2006’s platinum, A Girl Like Me. |
