HINDER PULLS A GUN ON CHRISTMAS

Hinder has pulled a gun on Christmas, well not really, but drummer Cody Hanson pulled a gun on his brother for the holiday.

Hinder is taking a very short break for Christmas this year, and they’ve gotten their holiday gifts early with the successful “Lips Of An Angel” and the rocker “Get Stoned.” While some folks might find a copy of their latest album Extreme Behavior under the tree or in their stocking, Hinder drummer Cody Hanson talked about his most memorable holiday.

The drummer then talked about what he should have done to his brother.

“I have an older brother, and he was always kind of a d**k head when I was younger so… For some reason… Our next door neighbor was a girl, and I kind of had a small crush on her we were best friends or whatever, and she was there. She was there and my brother started being a d**k and he was making fun of me, and so I go in my room and get my little BB gun and take it out of the closet and I go post it up and stand by the door. I’m like, ‘Talk s**t now,’ right? And then my dad happens to look up and see me at the doorway with this BB gun and he beats the — not with the gun — but he beat the f**k out of me. I was hurting for a few days after that one, so that was one of my worst Christmas memories.”

The drummer then talked about what he should have done to his brother.

[Hanson] “I should have just popped…” [Rodden] “You should have shot your Dad, just tapping his ass.” [Hanson] “Like a BB is going to affect my Dad. I should have just turned around the corner and shot my brother right in the forehead. That way I would have shot his ass before I got the spit kicked out of me.” [Rodden] “You didn’t get any kind of revenge on him, did you?” [Hanson] “No.” [Rodden] “And then you looked extra bad in front of the chick.” [Hanson] “Yeah, I looked like a super douche, It was awesome.” [Rodden] (laughs) That was awesome!”
