LIL FLIP IS WAITING FOR HIS TURN

Lil’ Flip has been patiently waiting to release his new album, I Need Mine. The set was initially scheduled for release last fall. Then it was pushed back until December when the rapper released a new single, “What It Do,” featuring Mannie Fresh. The set was most recently scheduled for a March release but that date has since been changed to tentative.

When the album is finally released ten lucky fans will either receive a new watch or one of Flip’s Clover G chains. The new album will also include a DVD and guest appearances by Nate Dogg, MJG, Lyfe Jennings, Z-Ro, and Yukmouth.

“When you are a young rapper and artist, you got a lot of people that take advantage of the situation man. When I first came out, I sold so many records, what people will do to you is, they’ll give you enough money or enough stuff to hold you. And when you’re young, two grand to an 18 years-old is like 200 grand, you know what I mean? And I had a Jag and I had cars. It was just like okay so I was getting enough but when I started asking questions that’s when the things started getting shifty.”

Lil Flip may be in his early twenties but the rapper has learned enough in the game to know that timing is everything. The rapper is also aware that everybody isn’t looking out for his well-being. He said,
