THE GAME LEAKS HIS OWN ALBUM
The Game recently admitted to leaking the clean version of his new album, The Doctor’s Advocate. According to the rapper he did the same thing with his 2005 multi-platinum debut, The Documentary. The rapper explained, “You gotta do that. You gotta give people a sample. It’s like selling crack in the ‘hood, man. Anybody that ever sold drugs in the hood knows you gotta give a n***a a taste before they buy. I leaked The Documentary the same time last year that I did this album. I got a formula. I know what to do. They know what it is, people hear the joints is classic and you ain’t gonna hear s**t that you don’t like.” |
The new album doesn’t feature any production from Dr. Dre and no participation from the rapper’s former mentor 50 Cent. The Game explained why he still decided to title the album, The Doctor’s Advocate. He said, |
“There’s a lot of talk going around that you know Dre’s not working with me and I can’t do it without 50. So I’m just letting people know man, I’m the doctor’s advocate man. I’m from Compton. I’m Dr. Dre all over again.” |
In related news, The Game has made some new friends. Murder Inc. Records’ Irv Gotti and Ja Rule recently ended their beef with the rapper. Ja Rule and The Game have even recorded material together. Ja Rule is featured on the remix to The Game’s “Okay (One Blood),” and The Game has recorded a song that will be on Ja Rule’s new album. |
The Doctor’s Advocate officially hits stores on November 14th. |
