FAT JOE ONLY INTRODUCES LEGENDS TO THE GAME
Terror Squad leader Fat Joe will release his new album, Me, Myself, & I, this Tuesday, November 14th. The project will be the rapper’s first since leaving Atlantic Records and brokering an independent deal for his Terror Squad Records with EMI-Virgin Records. So far so good for the rapper as fans have gravitated towards the set’s lead single, “Make It Rain” featuring Lil Wayne. Me, Myself, & I will also feature guest appearances by The Game and Murder Capital with production by Scott Storch, LV, and the Runners. |
While some with a new label deal would be rushing to put out new artists, Fat Joe shared that he was taking his time because he only inroduces legends to the game. He said, |
“I mean I don’t know yet, I’m looking. You know I only introduce legends to the game. The hottest girl in the game right now is Remy Martin. The hottest brother, you know one of the hottest brother ever, first Latino to go double platinum, Big Pun. Hottest deejay, DJ Khaled, had a tremendous album this year, Number One independent album of the year. You got Cool & Dre producers. Tony Sunshine, look out for his album. He’s blowing. His album is crazy. It will be out in March, T.O.N.Y.” |
The next single from Me, Myself, & I is “Breathe & Stop.” |
In related news, Fat Joe is hosting a party in Miami to celebrate the release of the new album. Trick Daddy, Trina, Keyshia Cole, and Rick Ross were some of the artists scheduled to attend. |
