HINDER HOPES TO BRING MUSIC TO IRAQ
Hinder counts some of their biggest fans in the U.S. military and they band hopes to make a visit to Iraq |
Hinder’s “Lips Of An Angel” has propelled their album Extreme Behavior into a consistent presence in the Top 25 albums, and their influence is spreading overseas. The band has had a lot of success, but they are extra proud that U.S. troops are using their music for inspiration during their deployment in Iraq. |
Bassist Mike Rodden talked about photos he gets from servicemen with Hinder’s album or T-shirts, and he said he’d like to make a trip to Iraq to play for them. |
“There’s a lot of… We get a lot of mail from troops over in Iraq with pictures of them holding up our album or shirts or something. We send them a lot of stuff all the time and those guys…they’ve got it hard over there. The fact that our music pumps them up or keeps them going or whatever it does, I think that’s really coo. That’s a good story as far as impacting people. I myself would like to go over there and play a show. Whenever we can make that happen would be great. You never know. Hopefully we can get over there.” |
Hinder wasted no time getting back on tour, hitting the road the day after Christmas. The band will ring in the new year in Amarillo, Texas. |
