LIL SCRAPPY MAKES A POLITICAL MOVE
Lil Scrappy reissues single without Young Buck vocals, skirts trouble |
Lil Scrappy will release his sophomore album, Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live, this Tuesday, December 5th. The rapper was forced to reissue the set’s lead single, “Money In The Bank” featuring Young Buck without the G-Unit rapper’s verse because of a ban of Young Buck by the CORE DJS and several Radio One stations. Scrappy’s label feared the ban may have caused stations and deejays to shy away from playing Scrappy’s single. |
Young Buck’s music was banned after he allegedly attacked Atlanta’s Hot 107.9’s DJ Will for supposedly playing a song by The Game just before Buck was scheduled to perform at the Nocturnal nightclub in Atlanta last month. Young Buck has since denied jumping the deejay but admitted that he grabbed DJ Will’s shirt before leaving the nightclub. According to the rapper, the group of men who later approached Will were not with him. |
“Ah man like actually we was in Australia doing a goddamn tour, a Australian tour and they was…Man we was out there bugging cuz, you know what I’m sayin’? Smokin, drinkin’ and we just went in the studio, ‘Bow I got money in the bank, shortie what you drink.’ That’s what happened.” |
Prior to the incident, Lil Scrappy shared how he and Young Buck came up with “Money In The Bank” while on the Anger Management tour. He said, |
