THE BLACK DAHLIA RELEASED ON DVD

The Illusionist is now available on DVD featuring Edward Norton as a master magician in turn of the century Vienna.

The Illusionist available tomorrow on DVD features Edward Norton as a turn of the century magician who loses his childhood love played by Jessica Biel, only to meet up with her years later when she is promised to marry an evil prince played by The Holiday star Rufus Sewell.

Jessica who plays Princess Sophie talks about the love triangle between master illusionist Eisenheim and the Crown Prince Leopold.

“She’s torn between these two people and also she is living a bit in fear of the prince. He does have a strong temper and he does not want to be embarrassed and honor and pride are very big things as they are today but very much so in 1900.”

The Illusionist not only offers a love story but incredible magic performed by Edward Norton under the tutelage of Ricky Jay.

“Fortunately we had some of the greatest magicians alive advising us in particular Ricky Jay who is not only a great practitioner of magic and illusion but a true scholar. I think the acknowledged leading scholar on the history of stage illusionists and magic culture and performance history. He’s like a walking encyclopedia of all of it and he was the key to the whole thing for me.”
