PUB CRAWL WITH BROKEN LIZARD

The beer was flowing like water at the New York pub crawl with Broken Lizard to celebrate their new film Beer Fest. Jay, Paul, Kevin, Steve, and Erik who were downing brewskies and playing beer games took a break to talk about their latest adventure to Germany’s Oktoberfest to film the story of two brothers who enter the Olympics of beer festivals in the hopes of securing their family’s secret lager recipe.

While doing research for the film Broken Lizard learned the secret to chugging a glass boot filled with beer without choking.

“We’re gonna go this September to promote the movie. Also there’s a big beer fest. Hopefully the Germans can take a joke. This movie was a very expensive excuse for us to go to Oktoberfest on somebody else’s dime. “We stayed at the Flazen Plazen which has very nice suites. It’s a bed and beer. Great schnitzel at the Frouzen House.”

Note to the fans especially if you’re under 18. Don’t try this at home without adult supervision. Beerfest opens Friday in theaters nationwide.

“You have to open your throat and pour it in like it’s a pitcher. You don’t want your throat restricting the beer going down. No gagging. That’s why you have to train yourself is to tame your gag reflex.”
