PLUS 44 FOCUSES ON POST-BLINK CAREER AND HAVING FUN
Plus 44 is serious and committed to being a hit while not losing any humor post-Blink 182 |
Former Blink 182 members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker have returned with +44, their first band together since the break-up of the group that brought both of them to prominence. The band’s “When Your Heart Stops Beating” was featured on CBS-TV’s The Ghost Whisperer, and they’re mapping out spring dates for the States. |
While Hoppus has taken producing duties in the past and drummer Travis Barker had his smash reality TV series Meet The Barkers, Hoppus said members remain focused on music. |
“Oh this is by far our Number One priority for all of us. We have plans to go to Europe, Australia, and Japan, back for another U.S. tour, and then back to Europe again, hopefully South America, and then right back in the studio to record the next record.” |
So, what does he have to say to those who think that he’s lost his humor after the Blink break-up? |
“Uh, come to the shows. Come to the shows.” |
+44 is currently wrapping up European dates with the band finishing February 9 in the UK. The full video for “When Your Heart Stops Beating” can now be purchased at iTunes. |
