WILLIAM SHATNER’S ANIMATION FRONTIER

William Shatner is the voice of the wilderbeest Kazar in Disney’s new animated film The Wild. Kazar is saved from hungry lions by a Koala bear that falls from the sky. Shatner explains Kazar’s savior as being heaven sent.

The man also known as Denny Crane, Shatner was impressed by the next frontier of animation that The Wild illustrates.

“At a dire moment in his life, Kazar’s life, a little Koala bear fell out of an airplane and scared the animals that were going to eat Kazar up. And he thought it was from God, his highness, his himness this Koala bear doll. And ever since then he’s been looking for the Koala bear and one day escaped from the zoo came his himness. And so all the wildebeests worship the Koala bear because they think he’s come back.”

“The way the hair moves, the way the grass moves; the look in the eyes. I mean this is really good stuff and it should be appreciated as innovative and another step along the animated route.”rn
