PRETTY RICKY BANKROLLED LATEST ALBUM

Pretty Ricky cut off label while recording new album to avoid sophomore jinx……

R&B group Pretty Ricky will release their new album, Late Night Special, next Tuesday, January 23rd. The lead single from the porject is “On the Hotline.”

Pretty Ricky recorded the entire new project on their own in Miami without any help or financing fromt heir label Atlantic Records. Group member Baby Blue explained why the group shut out the label. He said,

“We actually, we cut the label out and that’s due to the fact that the first thing when we started talking about cutting a new album everybody was saying, ‘Sophomore jinx this, sophomore jinx that.’ So basically we cut everybody out, when in on our own, and did everything ourselves because we know Pretty Ricky. We know what’s Pretty Ricky. We know what the ladies look for from Pretty Ricky. And at the end of the day, if it doesn’t work, we want it to be because of Pretty Ricky.”

Pretty Ricky will also be releasing a women’s clothing line in the coming months.
