KISS DVD SET DEBUTS AT NUMBER ONE, PAUL STANLEY IMPRESSED
Juvenile seventh studio release, Reality Check, entered the Billboard 200 albums chart at Number One after selling more than 174,000 copies its first week in stores. The rapper’s previous highest charting effort was 2001’s Project English which entered the Billboard 200 at Number Two. |
Reality Check is Juvenile’s first album since leaving Cash Money Records and inking a label deal for his UTP Records with Atlantic Records. The rapper explained that running UTP was a group effort. He said, |
“Well it’s not just me. It’s me, my brother, and Aubrey. I’m blessed to be surrounded by a lot of good people you know what I’m sayin’? So we all sit down and we come up with ideas and we work it out man. And it makes my job a lot easier cause I don’t have a lot above my head. You know so I really get a chance to do more of my artist work like the production, hanging in the studio a lot, doing the engineering, and stuff that I like to do.” |
Reality Check features guest appearances by Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Trey Songz, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Fat Joe, Eightball, Bun B, Brian McKnight, Ludacris, and UTP. |
The latest single from the project is “Get Ya Hustle On.” |
