ENTOURAGE STARS REMEMBER FIRST ENTOURAGE
Entourage is all about four best friends who’ve know each other since childhood and are now experiencing the real world together in Hollywood. In real life the guys have had their own entourage of buddies to draw from for their characters. Jerry Ferrara, who plays Turtle talks about his buddies growing up in Bensonhurt, Brooklyn and feels the same camaraderie with Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, and Kevin Dillon on the show. |
Kevin Dillon who plays struggling actor Drama, the brother of movie star Vince Chase had a late night advantage with his first entourage because his older brother Matt broke his parents in. |
“I just remember staying out until the street lights went off and then running home because our mothers were gonna kill us because we were late. My first entourage started at about eight years old so I’ve had a good group of friends since I was a kid. We all get along so good. I couldn’t imagine working on a show like this and not liking the guys. I really think that’s the secret to our success.” |
Entourage airs Sunday night at 10PM on HBO. |
“I’m one of six and I have two older brothers who kind of broke my parents in for me so they were pretty lenient on the curfew so did a lot of late night flashlight tag crawling through people’s backyards and that kind of thing you know. It was fun. We would all, we’d call it calling for someone in New York. We’d be like, ‘let’s go call for Christian, let’s go call for Louie, let’s go call for Mike Newitsky.’ We’d go to their houses, you’d knock on the door, you got your baseball bat and gloves and you go and call for all the guys and you’d go play baseball. That was the early entourage.” |
