SHARON STONE GIVES THANKS TO BOBBY CAST
Sharon Stone stars in Bobby as the manager of the Ambassador Hotel beauty shop who becomes stylist and therapist to the guests who grace her chair. The Oscar winning actress felt humbled to be part of such a prestigious cast. |
William H. Macy plays the manager of the hotel and Sharon’s cheating husband having an affair with hotel operator played by Heather Graham. Sharon says she was floored by having to act opposite someone she revered such as Macy. |
“To be with Anthony Hopkins and Harry Belafonte. I mean Harry was the very first record I ever sang to when I was a little, little girl wrapped in a bath towel with a little plastic flower behind my ear and using the thing you pull the drapes with to sing into. He’s culturally an enormous part of our whole lives.” |
Despite the impressive ensemble cast including Demi Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Laurence Fishburne, Elijah Wood and Emilio Estevez, Sharon talks about why Bobby is a must-see movie this Thanksgiving weekend. |
“You know you just look across the room and Bill Macy oh my God when he came to the set I almost passed out. When they said he’s gonna play your husband I couldn’t believe it. I literally had to push and become argumentative with him before I did the scenes so I could break this reverential feeling I have about him to do the work.” |
Bobby opens today in theaters. |
“I think it’s important to see this movie just because it’s a good one which is already kind of wonderful and rare. And I think again because it’s so inspiring. It’s funny. It’s emotional. It’s raw. It’s informative. Even though it’s a movie from the sixties if you close your eyes it’s almost like it’s just happening right now.” |
